trek group shot aftermath
Lots of people in Starfleet uniforms posed for a big group photo, but by the time I got out to take my own picture of them, they were dispersing, so you get this confused crowd scene here. I have another picture from nearly the same angle, but less faces are recognizable. The only people I can identify are Amir Hanan (shaved head guy with musketeer style facial hair, looking sideways) and Adi Neumann, shown here operating what appears to be a late twentieth century version of a tricorder or communicator. Anyone who identifies people here, drop me a line.
Update: I've recieved mail from some people who've identified themselves in
the picture. The elbow, chin, and Captain Kirk shirt in the upper right belong to
Eli Meerson from Jerusalem, who wrote an article about the convention
for Pnai Plus. On the far right of the same (top)
row is Yuval Makowsky in a red Deep Space 9 uniform. In the middle of the upper row is
Or Botton, who tells me he's the guy in the red shirt "that doesn't look like star trek uniforms
(since it isn't)".
The red-haired guy in the foreground (note the ST-TNG
Enterprise on his Kippa!) is Benny Shalev, and the woman beside him in the blue baseball cap
is his wife, Vica. Benny informs me that it is his Tricorder in Adi's hands.
Oh, and the girl in the black shirt with her profile to the camera is the infamous Yael "Ivanova" Dagan.
